London Chamber of Commerce visits Uganda

Representatives from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) are set to visit Uganda between March 20 and 23, in an effort to explore new opportunities in the Ugandan market, a statement from the British High Commission said. This will be their first visit to Kampala since 2003.

The British High Commission, through its UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Team is supporting the visit and arranging the LCCI’s programme in Uganda.
 
The statement adds that LCCI will bring UK companies from the manufacturing and services sectors with products that are tailored to Ugandan businesses and consumers.

These include waste water systems, water purification, consultancy, scientific laboratory equipment, international aid related services and equipment and equipment for the engineering and construction markets.

Besides exploring new market opportunities, the statement said, the Trade Mission will help to strengthen existing commercial links between Uganda and the UK.
