After all these years of singing and not being invited to perform at any of Kampala City Carnival, New Chapter Africa (NCA) have now released a song that praises Kampala, if it was in Sunrise Rafiki’s powers, this song would definitely be the Headline song for the City carnival.
This song is titled‘Kampala’ and unlike the songs we have always heard about Kampala that always talked about how dirty Kampala city is, the insecurity, slums, pot holes, poor roads and street kids; this NCA song has highlighted the good side of our city, like Munyonyo Resort , stadium, and some classy roads around Kampala
This song has verses that says ‘all over the world am choosing Kampala’, and also mentions reasons why everyone should chose Kampala things like the tasty local foods, the beautiful traditional folk music, the exhilarating dances, the hospitality of Kampalans and the beautiful climate among others
The video editor did a good job of editing the video very well for you can mistake Namboole stadium for Emirates stadium. This song is currently the talk of town and Rafiki thinks that if this Song is a strategy, then NCA got it all right…… and the song is worth everything.
