In a year, Christians have over fifty Sunday days on which they converge to praise God for all the earth and heavenly rewards he has given them. They however, have one day to celebrate Christmas a day on which the Lord Jesus Christ was born. This is a fact that needs to be loudly pronounced.

Dressing in a peculiar way to paint a picture of celebrating Christmas, is one way of asserting the uniqueness of this day. Here are a few clues on dressing to denote a Christmas affair.

For starters discard the idea of shopping in Arcades that have become a shopping destination for those who do not mind putting on what every Ugandan who earns above A Dollar a day can afford and access. Instead, go to a fabric store and buy your special material and go to a nice tailor and tell them to make something similar for you and your husband. You can do the same for your children as well.

The other option though may be inclined to the well to do in this society, is to order on line for the garments that you wish to don on Christmas day. Here by use of your Credit card you can purchase from renowned clothing stores in Europe, America and Asia and have your items from favourite designers delivered to you in a flash. I bet that those worshipers in Church who will be putting on Designer labels specially ordered for Christmas will stand out in that crowd. 

Though not common to every body appreciation of the possibility of capitalizing on colour to create the unique impression for your family is another aspect that can help you out of the impasse to have your family put on to impress for Christmas. You can choose similar plain colours for the whole family.

You can also do multiple colours but same with similar designs because some colours might not match both light and dark skin complexions for partners who can do the light colour and the other does the dark colour.

Also try to explore hand made garments to extraordinary. This is a unique type of knitting fabrics that will bring out creativity and a touch of nature. Hand made outfits can be bought from art galleries and crafts villages. I tip every body who will try to explore these to get that desired "he or she was so special" nod as we reminisce Christmas outfits.
