Eagles Production star Mesach Ssemakula just proved who he is – that he’s a fans' favorite.

Hundreds of his supporters braved the chilly and wet Friday evening to turn up for his Taliiyo Album Launch at Hotel Africana’s People’s Space. A visibly overwhelmed Ssemakula knelt, together with wife to say Thank you to his fans for the unwavering loyalty they showed him.

And to thank them back, the star put on a show that will go down in history books as one of his best ever.

Besides great sound, a wonderful stage and unwavering support from fellow musicians, Mesach’s own appearance couldn’t have been better.

Apart from the expected hits like Taliiyo, Thank you, Ntongo, Mesach brought back some of his signature tunes like Abakazi abaguma, Kankutendereze that made him a star only a few years ago.
 
But particularly memorable too was the appearance of veteran Musician Dan Mugula who first composed Ntongo so many years ago.

The ever young Mugula belted out his original Ntongo lyrics and brought back the memories that sent the crowd a bit crazy forcing some of them to storm the stage to tip the veteran singer.

As usual, the entire Eagles Production team including Ronald Mayinga, Geoffrey Lutaaya, and upcoming starlets like Maureen Nantume, were around to lend their support to Ssemakula.

But other star artists like Raga Dee, Bobi Wine, and Aziz Azion had remarkable performances which made the show in the end worth its billing. blog comments powered by Disqus
