Because of one reason or another, some men have found a way to disclaim responsibility for looking after their off-spring. And, you can not limit this to our musicians because not much recently, even a minister was dragged to court accused of child-negligence.

The other day, it was Geoffrey Lutaaya and now it's Sekyewa who has boarded the band wagon. On Monday, Rafiki was witness to a kind of drama when a certain beautiful girl came on the scene half-dragging a laden suitcase and imploring boda boda riders around to give her a  hand. This was near Sekyewa's house.

Apparently, Sekyewa had earlier promised this beauty heaven and earth while he chewed away at her fruit. A child was the result of their combined efforts but now, this upcoming artist appear to have abandoned his responsibilities and mbu has not been sending welfare to the girl and her baby.

On the fateful day, the girl was overheard calling out to Sekyewa and telling him that she had abandoned the baby at his (Sekyewa's) door steps. From the house, Sekyewa was also heard replying  with very rude words and advising her to take her story to the media (apparently he did not know that Rafiki was in the environs taking notes!). blog comments powered by Disqus
