Do the Rich Owe the Poor?

Share
According to UNICEF 24,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth far removed from the scrutiny and conscience of the world.

Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death. It's unfortunate that the potential saviors, the rich, cannot come to the poor people's rescue.

Without the poor there wouldn't be any rich. Poor people are at the bottom of the pyramid helping to keep the fat cats at the top. Should cats be grateful for a system that manipulates to keep people poor so the rich can stay filthy rich.

If you believe that the rich are credited for bad behaviours, you may be right because some are. They enjoy being at the top of every one else. Actually people seem to enjoy things more when they know a lot of other people have been left out of the pleasure.

America's top bosses earn over 300 times more than production workers on average. It means the low status people contribute immensely to keep the rich at the peak. However, the poor should also be appreciative to those rich fellows who donate to charitable organizations, kind and helpful for life.

In some cases the poor are unreasonably jealous and anti-rich. They accuse the rich of being proud and showing it. But I doubt if it's out of pride that someone says 'I have never lived in a house without my name on it'.  This may be the fact. Their principles upset and offend the poor who don't have any.

It is easy to have principles when you are rich. The important thing is to have principles when you're poor. Being comfortable is a principle one may adopt. There is no amount of money that will make you comfortable if you are not comfortable yourself.

Those of you who have had a sizeable experience with rich people have realized that the rich love to be praised if they must keep you around themselves.

But again they must be careful with people who praise them since most of them are pretenders. Lots of people want to ride with you in the Limo but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the Limo breaks down.

Most rich people don't easily give out money. They will spend on everything if you asked them to but will always hesitate when you ask for money to run a development project. Does this mean that they love to see you remain poor?

Maybe they just love to teach you that money does not come that easy. They also love to keep in company of those who won't play the needy's role or parasites of some sort.

The poor will then throw curses in disgust as if their counterparts owe them anything. But most people believe in luck. If you cannot explain the success of those you don't like you better understand that there is luck.

The school of thought that appends signatures to the belief that the rich owe the poor would like to convince the public that most rich people accumulate wealth from dubious means that involve exploiting the poor. The rich are said to engage in corruption, tax evasion, smuggling, exploitation of cheap labour from the poor and so on.

Someone  serious and reading this piece should get out of his shell and start working to get rich while still alive because no body owes you anything. There is no reason to be the richest man in the cemetery. You cannot do any business from there. Stamp the disquieting signs of laziness from your self and get to work.
