A parent's dream Vs the child's right to be Silly
It is said that no parent will give his child a stone if he asked for bread. And no child should expect a snake from his parent if he asked for a fish. This maybe Biblical take but reality has its own version.
In a world where everything is as sudden and shocking as the Holy Spirit you have to get ready to be disappointed. We are living in an age where the pizza gets to your home before the police.
If your parents never had children, chances are you won't either. Suppose this is not some kind of joke, how would you explain your existence? On a serious note we are talking about parents who would go through the furnace to give their children the best in life.
The heroes who spend their entire lives giving a definition to their children's lives. Economists report that a University education adds many thousands of dollars to a man's life time income- which he then spends sending his son to the University. If it sounds like digging up one hole to cover up another, you are not a parent.
Our truest life is when we are in our dreams awake. To a parent this is the time when his son turns into a productive, self reliant and a prosperous member of society. But how to get there is every parent's concern.
The decision to choose a desirable destination is the first logical step. The truth is that you will never leave where you are until you decide where you would like to be. This is what makes parents get very serious with their children to give no room for deviations.
Most children know three scare-crows in life; their parents, their teachers and the most horrific movie they have ever watched. As children they are right to think that parents are a band of sadists.
We always judge children under the background that they have the right to be silly. It will soon become a constitutional right.
Frankly speaking you never will be the person you can be if pressure, tension and discipline are taken out of your life. The same treatment applies to all children in a family. You know parents are free of prejudice; they hate everyone equally.
In life no one can defeat you unless you first defeat yourself. Such disquieting signs of laziness and low esteem comprise what a parent would love to stamp out from you. What an elder sees while seated on ground the child wouldn't see even if he climbed a tree.
He has seen the trees grow and die, he has seen the mountains while they were still young and he has also seen the willows bend to survive during the storm. Now he is aware that opportunity often comes disguised in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat. This is what the parent wants to tell his children.
Statistics on sanity are that one out of every four people is suffering from some form of mental illness. It's simple; think of your three best friends. If they're okay then it's you. Kids need to be careful with some parents.
Like liquids have different boiling points, human beings also have different breaking points.
Not all fathers can afford to be the proverbial wonderful and tolerant dad. My people say that a child who chooses to deny his parents sleep must also be ready to forego sleep.
