Virginity and dignity re-visited
How about a joke for a change? I read somewhere that the smallest motel in the world is called Virginia. It accommodates only one person at a time and his two bags are left outside.
Shall we start now? For some reasons, I have been thinking in reverse mode. Been asking why things are how they are, what could happen if some things are done a different way and a hoard of other trivia my mind could play with. Finally I remembered when I first lost my virginity and an argument to that effect I had had with my friends.
Can you believe many people talk all nice about virginity and make those who lost it early in life look outcasts? I fail to see why there is a lot of brouhaha about virginity or the lack of it.
You will agree with me that when a chic loses her virginity the first time, she wasn't sure of what was happening to her body - leave alone the act itself. In case you lost it while in primary school, I know it was not because you wanted, in case it happened while in high school, well, I bet it was more of curiosity or not to loose the guy that rocked your world then. And in case you were in campus, my congratulations are in order because I want to believe you knew what you were doing.
Usually many of you dudettes who lost yours in primary will always say given the chance, another time, you would choose to wait until you are ready oba until you are able to figure our what was really going on inside of you. The beauty with dreams is that they are just that…..dreams. But I will tell you the men's experience with virginity (so help me god).
I hope am talking for all the men when I say that before I got to do it. I did get the thrill in the spine and my adrenaline rushed through and most probably did it with an older woman and within seconds it was baaaaang!. But am definitely sure I'll be talking for all the men when I say once you do it, there is no turning back unless you just cant get it and don't know how.
But I have also met some people who believe in secondary virginity. Let me tell you something, If you are a primo Virgo then it is dignity (if you are a chic) but once you get to do it for whatever reasons and then say you dint want it anymore, that is lack of opportunity… 311!!!
So lets ask ourselves the boring question: Is Virginity Dignity Or Lack Of Opportunity?
It is true men and women are different.Men have pressures. When a man is doing it, not only does he satisfy his tool but he also satisfies another greater emotion called the male ego.He solely believes that he is becoming more of a man by having sex. Someone correct me if am wrong but for a woman, its more of satisfying her sexual needs and psychological pleasure thinking she is bonding more with the man…well that is if you are not a whore! Yeah I said it!
Dignity is not about whether you've had sex or not. Methinks its more of how you carry yourself after that. I mean you can still be dignified and I can still respect you after we do it in the loo of the restaurant if youwon't start ya stupid gossip of how we just did it in the loo of the damn restaurant.
Listen up readers! Most guys will call a woman they have slept wit a whore if they see her with another man getting all lovey dovey infront of him even though they did it on a basis of no strings attached.Fine we did it but can't u atleast show yourself some respect leave alone I? Long story short, virginity is lack of opportunity as you may have had sex but still have dignity.
For a woman, its dignity for a man,its lack of opportunity. Take it or leave it, a woman doesn't expect to get a husband who is not perfect so men have to do some sort ofpractice before they get to wed. This of course could be to the detriment of the unfortunate women they are experimenting or practicing with. Bt again, no one cares at that stage.
There are virgin men and women out there;at least I have been privileged to have two confessions. But I will say one thing: Neither woman nor man would wish to remain a virgin again once they loose it unless they were raped… and this has nothing to do with having no options.
