Caleb Wandera, a resident of Buziga in Kampala may have made history when he married four women at a go in a traditional wedding ceremony in Kiira trading centre, Malebbo, Pallisa last weekend.
Wandera, a businessman working in Dubai married his wife Esther Nabirye with who he has a child and three other women Christine Tigatoola, Teopista Mawerere and Beatrice Bulakki in a colourful ceremony that was attended by an estimated 4000 people.

The Inspectorate of Government has arrested a Jinja Court Magistrate, Okwit Oditi on charges of receiving a bribe of Ushs 100,000 from a suspect he was supposed to try.
Relatives of the suspect one Ssembule Emmanuel who wanted justice to take its course because they believed he was innocent were shocked when the magistrate called them and asked for the money.

Buganda Katikkiro Eng J.B. Walusimbi has announced the death of Lady Damalie Nakawombe Kisosonkole, the widow to the late Sir Edward Muteesa II. Sir Edward Muteesa II is the father of the reigning King of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.According to a statement issued by Mengo, Lady Damalie, as she was popularly known, passed away on Monday morning at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala.
“Katikkiro on behalf of the people of Buganda extends condolences to the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and the Royal family for the loss of their parent,” the statement noted.
Stephen Tinka, a journalist who was has been working with Uganda’s Vision Voice radio station is died in hospital yesterday as a result of last Sunday night’s bomb attacks at Lugogo in Kampala.
