President Yoweri Museveni has directed the Uganda National Road Authority to relocate the Kayunga-Kamuli ferry on River Nile three kilometers upstream to Kasana were the water levels are deeper and free of rocks to ensure that transport services across the Nile start immediately.

Officials from the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) revealed this week that Uganda is set to host yet another major conference between May 28-29, 2012, aimed at strengthening business linkages and investment connections between Africa and the Arab countries.
