Buweekula won their first-ever Buganda Masaza Cup title after defeating Ssingo 1–0 in the 2025 final at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo. The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Mutebi, presented the trophy to Buweekula’s captain amid jubilant celebrations. Alex Talemwa scored the decisive first-half goal, while fans praised coach Felix Ssekabuuza with chants of “In Felix we trust!”

Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga congratulated the champions, emphasizing unity and sportsmanship. Top scorer Jimmy Kalema, with eight goals, thanked his teammates and fans, while team manager Hajji Rajab Ssebulime announced his retirement after achieving his dream of winning the trophy.

The victory ended Buweekula’s years of heartbreak following previous final defeats in 2012 and 2021. Kyaggwe took third place after beating Bugerere 1–0, and the Kabaka, alongside other kingdom officials, awarded medals to the players.
