Long serving leaders are embarrassing dinosaurs

When we talk about Africa’s longest serving presidents we cannot miss out on names like

Muammar Gaddafi of Libya, Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, Omar Hassan al-Bashir of Sudan and many others.

We only thank God for the gift of such leader; even after their long stay on the political saddles none of them ever wished to relinquish power and go home. Even the test of time never seemed to quench their thirst for power.   In fact some of them like the late Mobuto Ssese Seko of Zaire, now DRC, and the late Muammar Gaddafi of Libya swore never to be refered to us the former presidents but late presidents.
