Hardly a day goes by without something strange or weird happening in this country. Uganda is a Pearl of Africa, but basing on the dramatic turn of events, we are fast turning into a Pearl of Disaster. From floods, hunger, drought to, now, landslides, nature is taking a heavy toll on us.
This is not to mention the wanton corruption that is killing our economy and people at a rate faster than HIV/Aids, and street protests where innocent civilians are shot dead when they engage in running battles with the state.
If today you don't hear this, tomorrow you hear about that. The latest is the burning of Kasubi tombs plus the remains of fallen kings! Alas, is this the beginning of our judgement? Is God finally acting because of our hobnobbing with sodomy? God forgive us!
