Who negotiates for your contract with a certain club or your pay raise or adds value to your talent has been a problem in Uganda.

Surely, there will no longer be such problems anymore, now that Kinetic Management Group Africa Limited is here.

Adding value, sourcing sponsors, negotiating better deals for athletes and entertainers and indeed promoting such brands like sports and music is my interpretation of Kinetic management.

Kinetic is here to scout, nurture and develop talents in sports.
At KMG, the belief in managing the public relations strategy for an athlete, club team, federation or entertainers is well a good one.

There, therefore, won't be any complications such as designing and valuating sponsorship packages and the representation of commercial rights or otherwise.

The teething issue currently within the sports/entertainment industry is sponsorship valuation. Kinetic promises big in this area.

Big promises of sponsorships, commercial rights, and educational careers could therefore be a priority as such has been lacking in the sports and music industry.

There is also this point of education versus talent. Many of our athletes have failed to play in out side Uganda leagues because they did not go to school. This is an area of concern for Kinetic.  

Kinetic Management Group (KMG) Africa certainly has a bright future, but must keep on the rails.

Their motto 'Energy in Motion' should go a long way in justifying the intentions for which this company stands- developing sports talent and giving them a better future after sport.

I am particularly not concerned about the projections of KMG but concerned about how best you can package the brand and source for its market. That should be a pre-occupation.

As a former tennis star, KMG CEO Cedric Babu must be knowing something about sports: it's not about your talent but how you package the talent yourself. An educated player is a better one in the professional world of sports and entertainment.
