Unveiling the drink at Forest Mall Lugogo, CBL’s Head of Sales and Marketing Innocent Tibayeita said: “We are deeply convinced that Evervess Bitter Lemon will enhance our product portfolio and will give our consumers more choice as life is lived to the fullest when there is choice.”
Evervess Bitter Lemon joins CBL’s existing products Mirinda, Mountain Dew, 7UP and Pepsi.
“This soda is available in 500ml plastic bottles at a retail price of shs1500,” Tabayeita said.
Evervess Bitter Lemon Brand Manager Bernadette kizza said: “The focus of the flavor does not lie primarily in the ability to be mixed with sprits, but in the outstanding flavor potential as pure refreshment with a strong character as a standalone.”
CBL had last launched a new drink, Mirinda Green Apple, in March 2013. CBL has been in Uganda for over 20 years.
