Having realized that some incumbent politicians in Uganda such as Members of Parliament (MPs), fail to handle the pledges they make to the electorate, they normally turn to witch-hunting their political opponents through harassment, bribery and intimidation and in some instances witchcraft and framing up of cases so that they are jailed even ending up wishing them death.

The murky waters of politics in Uganda and Africa in general need politicians to realize that leadership is a service to your people as opposed to an avenue for personal wealth creation.

Such cases normally make it hard for one to challenge the incumbent largely because the complainant often has to contend with many disadvantages including a financially stronger opponent, and a suppressive security apparatus not to mention the support of the president, as is the case in most constituencies in Uganda.
