The Evening of Christmas Music! All ages catered for

On December 18, all roads will lead to the National Theatre for the 4th edition of the Evening of Christmas music.

Led by Ronnie Nsereko, the Quintet Band has pledged to entertain revellers with gospel live music ahead of this year’s Christmas.

Following the recent successful events in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Nsereko said that this year’s evening Christmas music shall be greater and more enjoyable.

According to Nsereko, all faiths (Protestants, Catholics, Muslims and Seventhday Adventists) shall be entertained.

We play a collection of Christmas songs, singing our own music with a mixture of other people’s music like the one of the late Philly Bongole Lutaaya, ” he said

Nsereko noted that in addition to Quintet Band, revellers shall experience performances from Choristers of St. Michael, St Agnes choir Makindye and Daki Winds brass band from Kisugu Church of Uganda.

Nsereko says he initiated the ‘Evening of Christmas Music’ with the main aim of entertaining revellers who plan to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ both from within towns as well as villages.

“Remember at this time people start preparing to go to villages and others remain in towns remain in Christmas mood so we make sure that they enter the days with happiness and joy but in a religious manner,” he added.

“Remember our target is entertain all ages that is why we have catered for these young ages and their payment shall be lower than that of adults (UGX 10,000) and adults (UGX20,000)” he said.
