Uganda has recorded a significant milestone in its export journey as Movit Products Limited officially flagged off its first product consignment to the United States of America.

The event was described as a landmark achievement for both the company and the country’s growing manufacturing sector.

As the Chief Guest, the Executive Director of the Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority, Mr. Hez Kimoomi Alinda, praised Movit for elevating Uganda’s industrial reputation and showcasing the potential of locally manufactured goods in global markets.

He commended the company for contributing to Uganda’s export growth agenda and reinforcing the country’s position in international trade.

Speaking at the event, Movit leadership highlighted the importance of the milestone in advancing the company’s global ambitions.

In a separate statement, Mr. Kitenda Robert, Chief Marketing Officer of Movit, emphasized the broader impact of the achievement on Uganda’s business ecosystem.
